FileBound® Release Versions
Features from the newest release of FileBound
Upland Software typically releases a major new version of its FileBound software every few years and issues minor updates several times per year. As of this blog post, the most current version of FileBound is version 8.2, released January 29, 2024. The 8.2 release included several new features and helpful changes.
Most notably:
- Improved mobile viewing experience and speed
- 100 additional indexing metadata fields
- Rotate, delete, reorder, and add pages to PDF files
- Group restriction capabilities on specific workflows
- Group eForm fields

FileBound 8.2 vastly improves the user experience by adding elements into formatting, as well as features desirable for FileBound administrators.
