An updated definition of ECM
Traditionally ECM was defined as “the technology used to capture, manage, store, preserve, and deliver content and documents related to organizational processes”. Today ECM also includes intelligent information management and is defined as “the strategies, methods, and tools used to create, capture, automate, deliver, secure, and analyze content and documents related to organizational processes”.
FreeDoc provides installation, support, and training for two popular ECM (Enterprise Content Management) systems. If you are looking for a cloud based solutions, both Upland FileBound, and Laserfiche Cloud provide this option. For organizations looking for an on-premise or private cloud system, we provide support for Laserfiche Avante and Laserfiche Rio. All two platforms provide Web and Mobile access. Other capabilities available on all platforms including flexible capture options for scanning and importing, robust access control, and metadata search. For organizations that require DoD 5015.2 certified compliance, this feature requires a non-cloud based solution.
